We hope everyone had a great summer and is ready to start a brand new school year.If you were initiated into ALD this past Spring and are interested in becoming an officer please download an application here.
Don't forget that completed applications are due Monday, September 15th to the Information Desk at the Tate Student Center.
Adopt-A-Child
Our Adopt-A-Child program was a great success this year! ALD members generously donated a great deal of toys, clothing, and money. We even had enough to take on a second child. We were able to make the holidays special for two young boys.
Thanks to the ALD members who helped out with this project.
New Website Recognition
Our UGA ALD site has been named one of five Outstanding Web Sites by the National ALD board. Considering there are over 225 chapters nationwide, this is quite an achievement! Keep checking back here for more information as we continue to try to make your ALD experience as rewarding as possible.

Please pick up your certificate, lapel pin, and a copy of ALD's The Flame magazine from 325 Tate (Student Activities Office) Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Denise Stanchek, senior administrative secretary, will be able to provide you with the three above items.
